Successful world premiere!
¨A storming success¨ wrote daily newspaper Enköping Posten about the world premiere of Pär Lindh´s new piece the concerto in a minor in four movements for oboe, violin, celesta, tubular bells and stringorchestra after it´s first performance december 4th in Litslena church in Sweden.Soloist´s was Kennet Bohman oboe who delivered a superb performance. Also Anders Lagerqvist violin and Pär Lindh celesta & harpsichord had soloparts in the work.
The full church responded with thunderous applause after each movement and sometimes even during the movements.
The massive positive reaction from all people attending the event might suggest that this concerto will in the future become a standard repertoar piece of classical music!

Pär Lindh´s Nobel Prize connections!
Pär Lindh has had two important connections with Nobel prize winner in litterature over the years. The present winner of the Nobel prize in litterature Tomas Tranströmer is Pär´s favorite poet in the modern era of poetry. Some twentyfive years ago Tomas Tranströmer and Pär Lindh gave a recital together in the Augeli museum in Swedish town of Sala.
Mr Tranströmer read his poetry and Mr Lindh performed his music and also played classical music of the great masters on a Bechstein grand piano.
Says Pär: ¨It was a wounderful evening filled with sublime poetry and to perform music together with such a great poet was just a fantastic experience. That night I discovered Mr Tranströmers poetry and have been waiting for his Nobel prize ever since. So it was with tears in my eyes I heard the great news last week¨.
In 1982 Pär Lindh gave a helping hand in a dangerous smuggling operation so that Mr Jaroslav Seiferts would two years later be awarded Nobel Prize in Litterature 1984.

Credit for the Progressive renaissance
¨Prolusion. Swedish keyboardist and composer Par Lindh has been given much credit for the renewed interest in symphonic progressive rock, due to his role in the establishment of The Swedish Art Rock Society and his output with PAR LINDH PROJECT that both started in the early 90s. "Time Mirror" is the latest effort from his band, their fourth full length studio album, and follows almost a decade after their previous CD "Veni Vidi Vici".From review by Olav M Bjornsen: The Rating Room
Since the release of PLP´s comeback album ¨Time Mirror¨ and all rave reviews following Pär is getting renewed recognition for his important role in making the return of Progressive and Symphonic Rock possible in the nineties.

A tour & reviews
Pär Lindh did a tour in Italy the final week of May along with Swedish Villberga choir. Classical repertoar as well as part of ¨The Cathedral¨ from PLP´s first album Gothic Impressions was performed for the amazed audience.Rave reviews of Time Mirror has been coming in all spring. Here are a few quotes:
¨What is it that makes PLP so special? For one thing their musicianship is second to none, playing with a verve and skill that many prog acts would envy. Secondly the arrangements are meticulously but tunefully structured, keeping the listener hooked from start to finish. Add to that a dazzling array of musically twists and turns, rhythm and tempo changes and there is enough here to keep even the most nit-picking prog sceptic in raptures.¨
Geoff Feakes DPRP reviews
¨Time Mirror blazes by, leaving the listener simultaneously exhaused and yet wanting more. For fans of
symphonic prog with heavy emphasis on keyboard, it´s an exemplar of the best the genre has to offer.¨
Rockreport Bill Kopp
¨Time Mirrror is a tour de force by Pär Lindh and the titletrack could bring down the moon. Its an orgie of
churchmusic, ragtime, jazz and symphonic rock and is some of the heaviest music you will be likely to hear
throughout the year 2011.¨
Norway Rock Geir Larsen
¨I have never been a massive fan of pop and rock music that doesn´t feature guitars, but I have to say this one blew me away - not just its technical wizardry but with its sheer musicality, a rare but refreshing combination these days.¨
Get ready to rock Alan Jones
¨The present, international line-up of PLP is highly promosing and an obvious choise for future projects. If they get the proper management there will be no limit to what this gang can achieve together. PLP occupies a unique place in today´s progressive scene, a successor to giants of days gone by.¨
Progarchives Per Köhler
¨Pär Lindh is a great keyboardmaestro in his own right who should be mentioned along names like Patrick Moraz and Keith Emerson. The new album is filled to the brim with beautiful melodies and original sounds with an appealing mix of synthesizers, Hammond organs and church organs.¨
Uppsala Nya Tidning Ulf Gustavsson
