Pär LINDH by harpsichord in a French Chateau

Pär was perhaps the last pupil of Ruggiero GERLIN in Paris. Mr GERLIN was a foremost student of the great Wanda LANDOWSKA. Gerlin in turn was the teacher of most famous harpsichordists of the Baroque revival years of the seventies and eighties.
Pär also studied harpsichord for among others Kenneth GILBERT, Huguette DREYFUS, Luciano Scrizzi and Inger Grudin-Brandt.
Pär has also taken masterclasses from among others Marie-Clare ALAIN & Ton Koopman.
Pär studied the piano for amongst others Mrs. Ani Gazarian who was a pupil of the great
Alfred CORTOT.


Masterclasses in French baroque music & harpsichord playing is a unique speciality of Pär Lindh.

Masterclasses on J.S. Bach - His music played and seen from the perspective of his own time. There is still a lot to learn about how to play Bach and free us from the later traditions and missunderstandings of how to approach the music of the great master.
